In addition to his own greatness as a player, the secret of Tony Jacklin’s supreme quality as a Ryder Cup Captain lies in his unerring ability to inspire others to achieve the greatness in themselves, and to secure their place forever in Ryder Cup history.
In the spirit of paying tribute to the achievements of others, Tony Jacklin has selected those players who have made the greatest contributions to the history of The Ryder Cup, from which Joe Austen has created Original Oil Painted Portraits which are permanently exhibited in Rusacks St Andrews, overlooking the 18th Fairway of St Andrews Old Course in The Heart of The Home of Golf.
The first four Portraits to be selected are those of Jack Nicklaus, Tom Watson, Tony Jacklin and Paul McGinley, which have been produced as extremely rare, prestigious and valuable Series of Limited Edition Giclée Canvases, each one of which has been individually Signed by the Champion depicted. As a tribute to his fellow Champions, Tony Jacklin has also individually Co-signed each of the Limited Edition Giclée Canvases of their Portraits.
